SCHOLARSHIPS (NOTE this is the offer seen on Facebook!):
We have awarded all of our work study scholarships for 2017 and are now offering a limited number of non-work study scholarships for dancers with financial need. This scholarship gives dancers a 25% discount for all classes in the 2-week intensive with no minimum class requirement. Please fill out the work study application (button below) but PLEASE NOTE that we do not need your availability to work (because you will not be working) so all we really need on the application is your name, date of birth (to verify you are our minimum age) and email address, then skip down and give us a few sentences describing why you need the financial help. We will not be contacting references so no need to supply that either. You will be contacted by email to give you the discount code to enter when you register! (so please check your email!)
WORK STUDY SCHOLARSHIPS
Save money and be a part of the BJDW team! For 2017 we are offering a limited number of generous scholarships that cover 50% of tuition for most Two-Week Intensive classes. Each scholarship is worth as much as $500+ in savings (depending on classes in which student enrolls). The work involved is minimal and will not conflict with BJDW classes. Examples of typical work-study tasks: assistance with office set-up, roll-taking for classes in which you are enrolled, postering for shows, etc. None of the work-study assignments conflict with two-week intensive classes.
Awards are made on the basis of expressed financial need (no documentation required); recommendations; availability, and order of receipt of applications. If you cannot attend the workshop without scholarship assistance you will want to apply and wait for our response before you register for classes!
What you need to know about our scholarships before applying:
